Project windows is a city-wide celebration of art, culture and commerce in the City of Chicago in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago. This year the theme is Georgia O’Keeffe “My New Yorks.” Taking inspiration from Okeeffe's Manhattan, and using Chicago's towering sky scrapers as the muse an extraordinary urban landscape takes shape, Blooming Heights: O’Keeffe in Chicago. O'Keeffe's floating flowers have been replaced with floating chrysanthemums (Chicago's official flower) among a few landmarks. This bold artwork brings forth a unique and captivating interpretation of the city with a nod to Georgia's Manhattan.

Dimensions: 18" x 48" x 2", acrylic mixed media on a cradled birch wood panel.
